Just thoughts...

As I prepare for almost two weeks on the east coast I have come to realize there are things I'm looking forward to in the east and things I will miss in the west. Looking forward to... 1. Seeing snow again and feel the bite of cold air. 2. Puerto Rico Import Co. coffee from Bleeker St. in NYC. 3. The roar of the subway in NYC 4. Suburban life on the weekends in VA 5. Friends on the east coast What I will miss... 1. The morning drive through the wetlands seeing a beautiful sunrise, mist and "our" great white heron. 2. The beautiful sunny weather we have been having. 3. Listening to the cacophony of frogs singing to each other in the evening. 4. Seeing snow covered mountains 5. The comfort of being home. While I have left Wylie before he has never been without both of us. This will be a first for him as he will be with Nanny P and Grandpa Fred for the weekdays and weeknights.
