So is this normal?

Wylie was totally off on Wednesday. On Thursday he had accidents at school and cried at the drop of a hat according to his teacher. Swimming lessons were okay but he also was not into doing things he does well like floating. After swimming at the Farmer's market he ate dinner politely and was mostly okay. Didn't ask for Scooby Doo when we got home. Sat on the potty trying to go poop for a LONG TIME but it didn't happen. This morning he woke up happy. He ate his bagel on the way to school. He was excited to wear his boots and carry his umbrella. He doesn't have a fever, doesn't have a cough, doesn't seem sick. Was it just a series of off days?
