Big changes for Wylie this weekend.
1. First Haircut--He was fantastic about it and really enjoyed everything except he now has to put his hand on top of his head to rub his hair. I'm even more impressed with the stylist who did the cut. She managed really well with a kid who was moving around!

2. New Shoes with velcro--This is to assist with his interest in taking off and putting on his shoes. He's really good at the velcro and he needs to be able to take his shoes off on his own for the next big thing. As a side note, he's getting really good at shoes with laces as well!
3. Underwear--Wylie has started the process of learning to go on the potty. Right now it's about wearing underwear, understanding pulling it up and down, sitting on the potty, and being aware of needing to pee. He's doing quite well. We are using a mix of underwear and disposable pull-ups. I'm not keen on the pull-ups for the ease of actually pulling them up. I do like right now that the pull-ups have little flags that disappear when Wylie is wet. It's a good tool. Wylie looks down if the flags are there he's still dry. If not he's wet and needs to sit on the potty. He's actually been able to let me know wet vs. dry several times.
