These photos are in order from Saturday morning to Monday afternoon. We really enjoyed the entire spectrum of weather on this trip. It was warm and sunny on Saturday morning when we left the motel for the park, by mid morning it was cold and snowing, by late evening it was frigid. Sunday was warm and sunny with a bit of snow melting. Monday we drove down the mountain into Fresno in order to head back into the Sierra's to go to Sequoia. The pass that we normally would have taken was closed to traffic due to the weather.
Monday afternoon we were in Fresno in 65 degree sunny weather. By the late afternoon on Monday we were again seeing 6 to 7 foot snow drifts and plowed areas.

When was the last time you were faced with snow that was taller than you?
This wasn't a plowed area to create the snow this high. It was the actual depth of the snow!
