Halloween Pumpkins

We went to a fun pumpkin patch with Wylie's preschool on the 16th. Lots of fun in the petting zoo, jumper, train and other games. We also picked out three really great pumpkins with awesome faces. On Sunday the 24th we carved the pumpkins thinking they would last the week as it has been cool and perfect pumpkin outside weather. Sadly they started attracting fruit flies by Thursday and then on Saturday morning we woke up to a rainstorm that pushed them over the edge. So Saturday morning Wylie and I took an excursion to the pumpkin patch to get more pumpkins. We came back with three more. Sunday morning Wylie, Wyatt and I worked on carving two of the pumpkins and will be cutting the little one up for pumpkin pie.
Mama, Wylie and Papa pumpkins.
Wylie's pumpkin. Brian took design advice from Wylie and helped him carve.
Mama's pumpkin. Mine are always white with a relatively basic face.
Pumpkins on Halloween Night. Wyatt carved the big one and Wylie and I carved the less artistic one.
