Hating Antibiotics

I know they are good at saving lives. I know that many work in a short amount of time. FAR TOO MANY have... 1. Side effects that are difficult 2. Dangerous life threatening allergic reactions 3. Crazy amounts of people who use them inappropriately creating resistant bugs. Why am I complaining? Wylie is on a bactrim generic that for the most part didn't create the side effects we worried about such as diarrhea, anorexia, and thrush. YES he has had all of those on the other antibiotics he's been on. He does have a rash on one foot. It started as peeling skin on the bottom of his foot and has now moved to his entire foot and is creeping up his ankle. Waiting to hear from the pediatrician.
