It's the end of the first full week of the new year and new decade. It has been a long busy week but it is ending on an up note: 1. We planned our dinners and lunches on 12/29 for the two weeks and bought groceries to cover. Spent $138. We ate out twice during that time and only had one additional run to the grocery store which was to buy vegetables and not to buy junk. 2. Monday was get serious about potty training day and follow through this week. Wylie was mostly on board and by today at school was completely on board with the idea. 3. In my effort to get out of the house and outside in general I've done well. Wylie is out with Holliday, out to the library, out for swimming and other things. I have done well taking my lunch outside of the office to read or walk. 4. I tried a crafty project that worked well. I sent off two of them to dear friends which means I made something, wrote a note, and made it to the post office all in one week. 5. We are getting together with the McCanless clan again this weekend. The boys play well together and I get to talk to my favorite foodie mom. Nice start to the new year.
