A little more waiting...

Sigh... It's Wednesday afternoon. I had my 39 week appointment with the OB today. I'm somewhere between 4 and 5 cm dilated and still 80% effaced, still no contractions. I did have a bit of excitement this morning at the OB's my blood pressure was 144/80 which is incredibly high for anyone especially a pregnant person who is normally at 118/60. So I got to have tons of blood taken, a second urinalysis and put on watch (yet again) for the baby to arrive. The only difference here is that they had an induction planned for Thanksgiving evening if my BP didn't go down. Everything is okay now. So this child gets to hang out a little longer. I know this is semi-typical for pregnant women everywhere but I'm getting tired.
