Prepping for in-laws

So as we await the arrival of Nanny P and Grandpa Fred from the FAR FAR EAST Coast we are preparing the house. They are driving all the way with goodies in the car for Wylie and Holliday. This involves: 1. Painting the living room wall that has been sitting unpainted since February 2. Cleaning up and painting the bathroom wall where our contractors put a hole in the wrong wall...sadly it too was back in February 3. Trying to clean the house as well as our dear Elizabeth does and get all the laundry done. 4. Replanting and filling the front planters with new fall flowers 5. Vacuuming up all the Holliday hair from couches, chairs and rugs. Best of all it involves going to the grocery store to buy Maxwell House coffee. It will smell like Nanny P's house after they get here. We are waiting patiently!
