Voting in California

Last fall I missed out on voting for the Governator because registering to vote in this state is a bit odd. In Virginia you register when you get your license, it's easy as pie. In California, you have to do it through the post office. No one is outside the grocery store, target or other stores hounding you to register. Then when you register you don't neccessarily get a voter card in the mail. I had to call to confirm my registration went through in the fall (which it didn't). SO this time I am registered to vote. YIPPEE! Now the question is...who do I vote for? I'm wondering who will be on the ballot by Super Tuesday? Did you know that Super Tuesday is also Mardi Gras?
