Eccles Dinosaur Park

In our Utah travels we also visited the Eccles Dinosaur Park. Wylie is obsessed with dinosaurs and Utah is dinosaur hunting ground. We didn't make it to the Dinosaur Lands in eastern Utah but this was a nice substitute. The museum was very informative and hands on. The outside walking park was amazing. The number of dinosaurs in their "natural" habitat and the information about each dinosaur was fantastic. Wylie was enthralled with the whole adventure. There is also a playground and activity center on the property. We took the time to participate in the whole adventure.
We should go this way to find some dinosaurs
Poistasaurus Learning to see just like the T-Rex (They only had peripheral vision not stereoscopic) Stand only in front because they can only see to the sides
Watching a miasaura catch a fish
DINO!
My what big teeth you have!
For some reason dinosaurs are attracted to Wyatt
In the wild
Lunch!
This T-rex was behind electric wires.

Thanks for the dino tips!

What's better, Jurassic Park or this museum?

Actually some of the dinosaurs were designed by the same designers for the movie. We like the parks and life size ones more than the museum. Instead of information overload that sometimes happens in museums this is life size interest and applicable information.

This place was definitely more informative than the one out in Cabazon. We were bummed that the Dinosaur Lands were too far but definitely plan to visit them in the not too distant future.

Interestingly Wyatt and I are going to Kauai which was the island used for filming Jurasic Park!
