Windows

Last year I went through the process of finding windows for the house in Alexandria. It was a good search and resulted in what I think were the best product for the value. Now I am getting ready to have the windows in the house here in LA redone not replaced. I will try to post the information I find and the lessons learned if possible. This will be a renovation project rather than a replacement project due to the age of the house and the type of windows. One bonus is the first contractor I've spoken with deals specifically with vintage windows in historic homes so I'm looking at high price but most likely high quality. HE also seems to think he can add some form of weather stripping without comprimising the look and quality! more to come
