Another Goals update...

Much earlier this year I mentioned my goals for 2009: 1. Put house on market in February--October 5, 2009 DONE. This was one of the most stressful heinous experiences of my life to date. We are financially poorer and emotionally shell shocked but we are safe and free of the nightmare. 2. Wyatt graduates in May--Done! Whooo Hooo--I am so proud and amazed at all he's accomplished. I'm very lucky to have a guy like him. 3. Find new house in new neighborhood with good school district--Done. Condo/Townhome Update is that the local elementary is a magnet with local kids accepted and API in the upper 800s. 4. Transition Wylie to preschool somewhere.--Done Wylie has been at TANS (Temple Akiba Nursery School) for 4 months and truly happy there. He was put in with the 3 year olds due to his language and mental capabilities. 5. Minimize flights to DC to about 5 total.--Went to DC three times so far, with one trip to Chicago, one trip to Utah, and upcoming trip to Baltimore and Boston, and one potential trip to Baltimore in December. So still at the 5. 6. Celebrate our 5th Anniversary somewhere fun and exciting.--We had Kate and Mark with us and then just hung out with Wylie. I'm thinking our 6th will be fabulous. 7. Make plans and reserve cabin or house in snow bound area for Christmas holiday. Changed our plans and decided to head to VA. We miss our family and friends. Wylie loves being with his uncles and grandparents and Uncle Frank for the holiday and I just can't deny him that experience. 8. Be thankful to God and share the love that was given to us with someone who could use it. This is a new goal for 2009. I know it's late in the year but it's been a rough year for us and I wanted one new goal that show my thanks for all who have stood by us. --My hopes are to sponsor a foster child in Los Angeles for Christmas.
